Craig McDonald is a novelist and an award-winning journalist and editor. His debut novel, HEAD GAMES, was nominated for a 2008 Edgar® Award for Best First Novel by an American Author. It was also a finalist for the Anthony, Gumshoe and Crimespree Magazine awards for Best First Novel. He has also adapted HEAD GAMES in graphic novel format for First Second.
His second novel in the Hector Lassiter series, TOROS & TORSOS, was released by Bleak House Books in fall 2008. The third and fourth novels in the series, PRINT THE LEGEND, and ONE TRUE SENTENCE, are published by Minotaur Books.
His short fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies, and his nonfiction works include ART IN THE BLOOD (2006) and ROGUE MALES (2009).
He is a continuing columnist for Crimespree Magazine, and has contributed interviews to Mystery Scene and Mystery News.
