Getting into a great writing rhythm now. I realise I can't do it without a steady supply of sandwiches as big as door stops!

Finished making a clock from pizza boxes, for a special order. I think it works. When I look at it, I feel it is time for munching....then, of course, writing.

Felling better and better about writing and the world in general. I hope it is not just me...!

Led a class about literacy for some children. Georgia, in the former Soviet Union is No 1 in the world with 100% literacy rates. The U.S. and the U.K> are joint 21st. I think I will give another class next week.....

Managed to trim two words off an eleven word sentence. I think I am getting there.....

I think cooking is like writing. Get the ingredients right, glean tips from the masters, mix it all up and stick it in the oven. Cooked a rocking pie tonight with nutmeg, parsnips and sour cream. now I must write like that...

Off to the old fashioned world of Fortnum and Mason today. The London store has exquisite extra strength breakfast blend tea. I shall ring for the butler who will have brewed it for the minimum standard time of three minutes per cup. I just woke up! The butler bit was a dream. I will have to sell a few more books before that happens......

I am freezing in the United Kingdom. All that time in humid and warm Virginia has left me completely unable to take the cold weather - I never liked it much anyway. Thought about my favorite saying - "No matter where you are, there you are." I don't know where it came from. Told my famous photographer friend about it. He put it up on Facebook.  Nice one!

There is an old ice warehouse in the middle of town. I have taken gentlemen from the jail, on work programs to remove the graffiti. It was adorned this Sunday with a giant replica of the twin towers. I took a picture and will send it to the jail to let them see it.

Wrote a song. My first. Will it go anywhere or end up in my sock drawer, only time will tell.......
