Mike is devastated when Taffy and three other ponies are stolen from their stable during the night. Sheriff's deputies promise to find him if at all possible, but Mike wasn't going to wait around. He had posters made and Med up his mind to put them up everywhere the circus traveled. Meanwhile, Taffy has been sold to a man who owns a pony ring. He is miserable, missing Mike, and not being treated properly. He doesn't know if he will ever see Mike again.
