Kat is the author of the Greywalker paranormal detective series featuring Seattle PI Harper Blaine.
Born in Southern California, Kat is the daughter of an English professor and a nurse. Raised in LA County, she graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a BA in Magazine Journalism (Editing) and worked in several non-fiction fields, including gemology, education, security, technical manuals, and gaming as a writer and editor before moving to Washington State where she toiled as a technical editor on contract while writing her first published novel, Greywalker.
Kat is a pistol and short range rifle shooter, rides a motorcycle, tells bad jokes, and can occasionally be induced to swing dance. She is married and lives on a sailboat in the Seattle area with her husband.
