Jane K. Cleland is the author of the Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries, which have been referred to as an Antiques Roadshow for mystery fans. Her first novel, CONSIGNED TO DEATH, was a finalist for the Agatha, David, and Macavity Awards for Best First Novel and has been selected as a "core title" by Library Journal for librarians seeking to build a cozy collection, along with 21 other titles including books by Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers. Other titles in the series include DEADLY APPRAISAL, which won the David Award, ANTIQUES TO DIE FOR, KILLER KEEPSAKES, and SILENT AUCTION [all from St. Martin's Minotaur]. "Josie" stories have also appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. "Killing Time" was nominated for an Agatha and an Anthony award. Jane owned a rare book and antiques store in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and now lives in New York City with her husband. Jane is a past president and current board member of the Mystery Writers of America, New York Chapter and the chair of the Wolfe Pack's literary awards.
