Heidi W. Boehringer’s first novel, Chasing Jordan (Serpent’s Tail, 2005) was hailed by Harry Crews as “A story of love and loss, Chasing Jordan is a quiet novel with a thunderclap at its heart.”
Heidi has appeared on National Public Radio’s The Spoken Word and has had essays published in the Herald. She is also a conference speaker and teaches workshops in creative writing. By day, she is the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) at NCCI Holdings, Inc.
Her second novel, Crossing the Dark (Serpent’s Tail) was released in November 2007. Village Voice compared Boehringer’s work to Chandler, Hammett and Alicia Giménez-Bartlett. Fort Myers News-Press compared her work to Jim Thompson and James M. Cain. Heidi lives in South Florida with her four dogs and two cats.
