Greetings and thanks for dropping by! If you are here, chances are that you are a crime fiction fan. This is a great place to look for new authors, or to find out more about your favorites.
Double "Thank you!" for taking a look at my profile while you are here.
Tony Burton has been writing fiction (both short and long) for several years, as well as being a newspaper columnist and technical writer. Tony and his wife, Lara, live in the hills of northwest Georgia where they are carving out a rural hilltop demesnes of their own. Tony has traveled widely as a result of both military service (over twelve years) and his work as a consultant and trainer. He has set foot in thirty-eight of the fifty states and in fifteen foreign countries. Those experiences, combined with life of a very small-town sort, provide a wealth of background for interesting and realistic stories.
Tony has two published novels, a collection of short paranormal fiction, and has contributed to (or edited) seven anthologies. He has over 170 published short stories and articles in venues such as The Writers' Journal, Woman's World, and Reflection's Edge. He teaches creative writing at the local Arts Center and online at EduFire (http://www.edufire.com) and WizIQ (http://www.wiziq.com).
Tony is an active member of the Mystery Writers of America and the Georgia Writers Association. He is also a member of the Southeast Chapter of the MWA (SEMWA) and serves as their Vice President.
