Andrea Campbell is the author of twelve nonfiction books on a variety of topics but specializing in forensic science and criminal law. She holds a degree in criminal justice and is a trained forensic artist, capable of creating a bust from a skull and drawing fugitive updates. Andrea is also Editor for the Arkansas Identification News, a quarterly that goes out to forensic scientists and law enforcement whom all belong to the professional organization, the International Association for Identification. In addition, Andrea is a Diplomate and Fellow with the American College of Forensic Examiners International.
Andrea writes several blogs and is a popular speaker for mystery groups and at crime novel conferences. Currently she is giving a program called: The CSI Effect: 7 Key Differences between TV Crime Drama and Reality.
Andrea is a foster mother for a Helping Hands capuchin monkey (who is an helper for a quadriplegic); she was host mother to two foreign-exchange daughters from Holland and the Canary Islands, and is a bio-mother to two sons, Courtney and Jordan. Andrea lives in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas with her husband, Michael, and mother, Anna.
