Mystery Writers of America is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are a strong advocate of programs that promote books, literacy, libraries, and reading. Over the years through our Kids Love A Mystery and MWA:Reads programs we have been involved in outreach to encourage the next generation of readers and writers. Our current focus is twofold: Reader to Reader, a program that connects libraries in need with people who have books to donate, and our Educator's Page, with links to mystery-based reading and writing exercises for all levels from elementary school through university courses.
